An International Student
Like many of you, I was an international student who came to the U.S. to pursue the U.S. dream. I got my degree in Accounting, sat for the CPA exams, and then joined a public accounting firm.
However, my career path didn't extend in a straight-line method. After eight years of exploring the workplace, I came back to school and earned my MBA degree from Santa Clara University. I enjoyed my experience as a student-run club leader for Women in Business and International Student Association.
A Finance Professional in Healthcare
With a strong passion for healthcare, I had my MBA internship as a Strategic Marketing and Alliances Analyst at Varian Medical Systems which is a leading medical device company based in Palo Alto, California.
After I graduated from SCU, I'm honored to be selected by Gilead Sciences to join the MBA CFO Leadership Development program. I'm now serving as a finance partner to Commercial FP&A team.
An Author and Public Speaker
When I was a little kid, I had a dream to be a journalist. Although my career path shifted to Finance, I've never given up writing. I enjoy traveling around the world, talking to people with different backgrounds, and sharing my experience with others.
Writing and public speaking prepared me to be an empathetic listener and an active influencer. I enjoy the two-way method that I can learn and contribute.
A Mom of Three
Being a working mom is hard; being a working mom of three kids is even harder. Instead of being a tiger mom who wants to be perfect at any time, I'd rather be a friend to my kids and grow together with them.
We need unconditional love which is so basis not only for our family but also for ourselves. Coming along with care and love, I enjoy sharing stories, making progress, and celebrating achievements together with you.
